FrSKY TFRSP FASST Compatible 2.4GHz 10-Channel Receiver

This TFRSP (special) receiver features both RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) and CPPM (Chaotic Pulse Position Modulation) outputs. The RSSI output may be used with on-screen display (OSD) systems that are common in FPV vehicles. The CPPM output may be used for FPV aircraft and multi-rotor applications such as tricopters and quadcopters where it is useful for reducing cabling and wiring problems especially in some flybar-less controllers, autopilot systems and homebrew UAV systems.

The TFRSP CPPM output combines the PPM signals from channels 1 to 9 on the first connector allowing a single servo extension to carry all of the channel information to the flight computer. Furthermore, CPPM can be used as a wireless trainer system using an optional wireless trainer cable.

The TFRSP supports the RSSI signal on the second connector. This signal is proportional to the strength of the signal received from the transmitter and may be input to a telemetry system to transmit that information to the pilot.

Warning: Servos should in no circumstances be plugged directly into the CPPM and RSSI outputs. Doing so will inevitably result in the servos over heating and potentially failing.
