Aliphatic resin is an ideal glue for porous materials like hardwood, balsa and ply. With a 5 minute grab time this glue dries hard and sands much better than PVA. It is water-resistant and is an economical, alternative to cyanoacrylates (CA). Being very thin it will flow into joints and cracks as well as soak into the surface of the wood producing a more flexible joint than CA. It does not have the sometimes harmful odour of CAs, neither will it stick your fingers together instantly like CA.
