Freeair Fish 3D /4D Mid Prop Aerobatic EPP (760mm)

This is the Fish from Freeair models it brings a revolutionary view to 3D flying.The fish model is made of EPP, supplemented with carbon reinforcement and printed with digital UV technology. The motor is located at the center of the model and is therefore unlikely to be damaged by a tougher landing. Thanks to the proportions of the model knife edge flight is easy. The flight characteristics are not the same as regular shock flyer type models.The Fish is designed for fun and crazy flying and can be used for combat in small spaces.

This type of design offers some unique characteristics and interesting capabilities. It is not possible to put into words what it like to fly this model but one word printed on the model sums it up - FUN.

There is loads of surface area and the model floats gracefully through the air. As the comically large smiling fish face is almost a wing, sideways flying (knife-edge?) is as easy as horizontal.  Oh – undercarriage is not included as take off is vertical from its perch on tail stance. Once you have got used to it, you would end the flight by reeling the fish in to a very slow harrier and just catch it !!! (Hmmm fishing).

 The very slow flying speeds make this model ideal for small halls and with the prop mounted in the middle you may get away with the odd encounter with the walls!!

The model is made of EPP and very resilient to crashes and any damage is very easy to repair. We have tested this model and have the best setup that results in very low wing loading and the total weight can be as low as 200gms.

As with all models the final performance will be down to the build and the hardware used. The model is a straight forward to put together but the odd design would not be the ideal choice for a first time builder or flyer. If you have built EPP models like the Blade or similar, you would take to this like fish to water (sorry cant resist ) .
The mid mount can be a problem if you have a odd shape motor so we would recommend that you follow the suggested list of components and even better buy the bundle.
