Our recommended power sets:

Standard (225W): A2217-9 brushless outrunner motor (stock no. 409693), 30A Pro ESC (stock no. 400214), APC-E 10 x 4.7SF (stock no. 411385)

Light (175W): Hyperion zs2209-24, 20A ESC, APC-E 9 x 4.7SF prop, 600mAh 3S (11.1V) LiPo. Good quality 9g-12 servos are recommended for 3D but if a docile setup is required, cheaper 9g servos will do the job. With this light configuration you need to pay close attention to saving every gram posible. If you are not experienced in building foam type models such as this then please choose our performance power setup. If kept light this setup can prove very rewarding.

Performance (280W): Hyperion zs2213-18 (stock no. 409747), 25~30A ESC, APC-E 10 x 4.7SF prop, 1000~1200mAh 3S (11.1V) LiPo. Good quality high power metal gear servos are a must with this setup. Ideal for most modellers. The weight is less critical; this power set will get you out of trouble. This is a good good choice if learning to prop hang.
